UnitedFirehouse.com came about when its owner Micah Shelton a firefighter and business owner found a void in the service industry. Trust. Many of his customers were concerned about having someone they didn’t fully trust enter their home or business. Other avenues for finding a service provider just could not ensure who you found was trustworthy. As a window cleaner prior to getting hired on as a Fire Fighter,  he found that his customers valued his work ethic and respected his position within the community. Many of his customers would ask if he or someone he knew provided other services, and most of the time he was able to find a fellow fire fighter that filled that void. As his list of contacts grew  it was apparent that his fellow firefighters and his customers would greatly benefit from being able to buy goods from or hire individuals based on that trust. In 2008 he started United Firehouse and began putting together the site you are now on.
